Flint And Steel
I know this isn't the first time that you've seen a Flint and Steel for sale. Most catalogs carry them, I just think mine are the best. There is no secret to a spark on your rifle, or your fire steel. Just use high carbon steel and old files. I said old files. New ones, cheap import ones are casehardened and make poor sparkers. good steel, polished edge and hard is all it takes. Almost forgot to mention, a good piece of flint from White Cliffs of Dover England. Striker size is 3 1/4" to 3 1/2" long and almost 2" wide. Remember they are made by hand and they do vary. Striker with antiqued tin box, has an antiqued finish on it, it's burnt, it will over time turn brown and have a nice old time look to it. I like it, I hope you do also.
